QAD Redzone Unveils Manufacturing Intelligence to Help Manufacturers Make Faster Decisions

QAD | Redzone has unveiled Manufacturing Intelligence, a new intelligence layer designed to help manufacturers make faster, more informed decisions across production, supply chains and enterprise operations. Announced on September 22, 2026, at the company’s Champions of Manufacturing event in Chicago, the innovation aims to move manufacturers beyond traditional systems that record business activities toward intelligent systems that understand operational conditions, recommend responses and increasingly turn decisions into action.

Manufacturing Intelligence builds on QAD | Redzone’s manufacturing platform, which brings together Adaptive ERP, Redzone Connected Workforce, supply chain capabilities and ChampionAI. The goal is to connect people, processes, data and technology to improve performance from the shop floor to executive management. The new capability is expected to reach the market in spring 2027.

Manufacturing Intelligence Moves Beyond Traditional ERP

Manufacturers often rely on multiple systems to manage production, inventory, quality, procurement and financial operations. Although these platforms capture significant amounts of operational data, employees may still need to analyze information manually and coordinate actions across disconnected applications.

QAD | Redzone’s Manufacturing Intelligence is designed to address this challenge by connecting manufacturing context across systems and helping organizations identify issues earlier, understand their impact and determine appropriate responses.

Key capabilities and objectives include:

  • Cross-system intelligence: Connect manufacturing data and workflows across ERP, production, quality and supply chain applications.
  • Faster decision-making: Help teams identify operational changes and evaluate their potential business impact.
  • Action-oriented AI: Move beyond reporting and recommendations toward executing appropriate actions within defined controls.
  • Improved operational visibility: Connect information from the factory floor with broader business performance.
  • Flexible integration: Extend manufacturing intelligence across different technology environments without requiring companies to replace all their existing systems.

This approach is intended to help manufacturers respond more quickly to disruptions while improving productivity and protecting operating margins.

NVIDIA Partnership to Accelerate Manufacturing AI

Alongside the announcement, QAD | Redzone revealed plans to integrate NVIDIA technologies into its Manufacturing Intelligence strategy.

The planned collaboration combines NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI capabilities with QAD | Redzone’s manufacturing expertise and operational context across ERP, production, quality, connected workforce and supply chain management.

The companies aim to develop a federated intelligence layer that can interpret manufacturing information across multiple systems without requiring organizations to move all their data into a single platform.

The planned approach also includes vision AI capabilities for identifying potential quality, safety and process exceptions in production environments. By connecting visual observations with manufacturing information such as production orders, product lots and quality records, the system aims to help teams understand not only what has happened but also why it matters and what should happen next.

New AI Innovations Extend Across Manufacturing Operations

QAD | Redzone also announced additional AI-powered capabilities designed to bring intelligence into everyday manufacturing and ERP workflows.

Key developments include:

  • Champion Assist: Introduces AI assistance within Adaptive ERP, alongside specialized agents for procurement, sales, sourcing and accounts payable.
  • Lynx Champion: Uses AI to analyze legacy ERP customizations and support ERP modernization initiatives.
  • Frontline AI Champions: Introduces specialized agents for roles such as line leaders, operations managers, inspectors and skills development teams.
  • Trade compliance AI: Supports more proactive global trade compliance through intelligent analysis and assistance.
  • Connected workforce integration: Brings AI capabilities closer to frontline employees and manufacturing execution activities.

These innovations are designed to address practical business challenges, helping manufacturers apply AI where it can improve operational outcomes rather than adopting technology without a clear purpose.

Key Takeaways

  • Manufacturing Intelligence: Connects data, workflows and decisions across manufacturing systems.
  • Faster responses: Helps identify operational problems and support timely corrective action.
  • NVIDIA collaboration: Plans to combine accelerated computing with manufacturing-specific AI context.
  • Expanded AI agents: Extends intelligent assistance across ERP, frontline operations and trade compliance.
  • Flexible deployment: Designed to work across heterogeneous technology environments.
  • Planned availability: Manufacturing Intelligence is expected to reach the market in spring 2027.
