Oracle Begins UK Rollout of NetSuite Next and Ask Oracle, Bringing Conversational and Agentic AI to NetSuite Customers
Existing UK customers gain Ask Oracle within their current accounts first, with the full NetSuite Next experience following and a phased expansion across EMEA in 2027
Oracle today announced the start of the UK rollout of NetSuite Next and Ask Oracle, extending the AI capabilities it introduced for NetSuite customers in North America to the UK market. Oracle describes NetSuite Next as the most significant update to its cloud ERP platform since NetSuite launched in 1998.
Ask Oracle first, within existing accounts
UK customers will be able to use Ask Oracle, a conversational AI assistant, inside their current NetSuite environments before adopting the wider NetSuite Next experience. This lets organisations begin using AI without an immediate change of interface or a disruptive migration.
Ask Oracle is built to respect each customer’s existing configuration, including roles, permissions, reporting structures and business setup. It answers using only the information a user is already authorised to see, and it shows how it reached each answer. Because users can see the reasoning behind a result, finance and operations teams can check and trust what they are given. Within NetSuite Next, the assistant is more deeply embedded across the user experience, so that users can search, analyse and act using their own words rather than navigating menus and running reports.
What NetSuite Next adds
NetSuite Next brings together AI Workspaces, AI Portlets, SuiteSkills, industry-specific SuiteAgents, SuiteAgent Studio and the SuiteAgent Management Workspace. Together they are intended to help users understand what is happening in their business and act on it in the flow of daily work. Target areas include financial close processes, customer commitments and working capital management.
Customers remain in control of how AI operates. Agentic workflows are designed so that users can monitor progress, review results and intervene where needed, and AI acts only within the approvals and guardrails each organisation defines.
Why business context matters
Oracle said the update reflects a broader shift in ERP, from software that users operate task by task to software that carries out more work on their behalf. In its view, this depends on context. Inventory affects finance, finance shapes pricing and pricing influences customer relationships and sales, so AI needs the connected data, workflows and business rules that describe how each company actually runs. NetSuite’s unified platform is designed to supply that context.
Oracle’s longer-term aim is an autonomous suite that can coordinate and carry out work across business processes while staying within controls set by customers.
Executive comment
Nicky Tozer, Senior Vice President, EMEA, Oracle NetSuite, said AI is changing what people expect from business software, and that in ERP the change goes beyond answering questions. AI should help complete the work, surface insights before users ask and adapt to each role and industry. She said she looks forward to seeing UK customers spend less time on routine tasks and more time growing their business.
Regional expansion
The UK is the first stage of a phased rollout across select EMEA markets. NetSuite Next will follow in Spain, Sweden and the Benelux countries in 2027.
